Helix test evaluates the capacity of penetration of the sterilization agent (steam, VH202, EO, formaldehyde) inside hollow loads.
Air and any other non-condensing gases shall be removed from the sterilization chamber before the sterilizing agent comes into contact with the devices to be processed so that the test result is not adversely affected.
Helix test is suitable for any sterilization process in a loaded autoclave.
